What A Great Summer Reading Program! Thank You For Taking Part!

The Summer Reading Program, "A Universe of Stories" was great fun for everyone who attended.  They learned about the moon and discovered how craters are made, constructed their own galaxies, designed rockets for NASA, put together planetary rovers with pasta, sent rockets fly into the air with Alka Seltzer tablets, made slime and learned that black is "just black" but every color.  Out last big event was "qualifying" to be Junior Astronauts by taking part in the Astronaut Training course (granted it was a very basic, DIY design.)

Movie & Popcorn - Come Join the fun & watch "Missing Link"

As the summer comes to a close and school is right around the corner, The Poy Sippi Library invites you, your family and friends to come enjoy "Missing Link" on Wednesday, August 21 at 2 p.m.  Starring Hugh Jackman as Sir Lionel Frost, a brave and dashing adventurer who considers himself to be the world's foremost investigator of myths and monsters.  The trouble is no one else seems to agree.  Zach Galifianakis is Mr. Link.  As species go, he's as endangered as they get; he's possibly the last of his kind, he's lonely and believes that Sir Lional is the one man alive who can help him.  Along with the independent and resourceful Adeline Fortnight (Zoe Saldana) who possesses the only known map to the group's secret destination, the unlikely trio embacks on a riotous roller-coaster ride of a journey to seek out Link's distant relatives in the fabled valley of Shangri-La.
