Join the Fun at Story Hour Mondays at 10:30 am

Come join the fun at Story Hour every Monday, starting at 10:30 am.  Deb Sattler has planned a number of fun activities for the little ones. This past Monday, the children learned about fun in the snow. Who doesn't like to hear stories about snow and snowmen?  The children played Snowman Bingo, sculpted fake snow into snowballs and snowmen and assembled their own special snowmen!  March 12 is all about penguins.  The children will hear several stories, such as, "If You Were a Penguin" and "Penguin Pete" to name just 2.  Reading books is only a small part of the morning.  There  will be a penguin waddle relay, fingerplay songs and penguin art. Mrs. Deb will have a different theme each Monday.  Monday, March 19 features winter birds.  Our special craft that day will be making toliet paper bird feeders.  March 26 is all about bunnies.  I heard that a real, live bunny might be helping to read the stories that day! This is a great time to meet other children and have fun at the library.  There is no cost for the program and you can come as often as you'd like.
