Square Foot Gardening Workshop Monday, April 15 at 2:00 pm

Monday, April 15, 2019 at 2:00 pm --

Everett Eckstein, Master Gardener

This type of gardening was developed by Mel Bartholomew in the late 1970s and has been featured on PBS, the Discovery Channel and has been taught all over the United States and countless foreign countries. Anyone from age 3 to 93 can garden this way because there is no digging, hoeing or actual work. Also being taught at the class is how to do vertical gardening, all of which cuts down the space ·needed to garden.

The fee to attend the event is one non-perishable food item for the Poy Sippi Food Pantry. Space is limited, so please call the Poy Sippi Library at 920-987-5737 to make a reservation.

Books on "Square Foot Gardening, The Revolutionary Way to Grow More in Less Space" will be available for purchase at the class.
