Food & Crafts of Africa

A “Food & Crafts of Africa” program will be presented by Waushara County 4-H Coordinator Heidi Hensel-Buntrock at 6:30 p.m. Wednesday, Aug. 25, at the library. Ms. Hensel-Buntrock will talk about African cuisine and show attendees how to make an African rain stick. The program is open to everyone – youth, families, and adults.

The presentation is part of the Read Africa grant received by the library in April. The Poy Sippi library was one of only 16 libraries to receive the grant and the money went towards the purchase of books about Africa for children and young adults. The books are now on display at the library - please come and check them out!
